Gredger is currently seeking a skilled Loan Underwriter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the financial industry, specifically in underwriting and credit analysis. The Loan Underwriter will be responsible for analyzing loan applications and making informed decisions about loan approval and terms. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Review loan applications and assess creditworthiness of borrowers
- Analyze financial statements and credit reports
- Determine loan approval and set loan terms
- Monitor loan portfolio and identify potential risks
- Communicate with loan officers and borrowers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in underwriting and credit analysis
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
